DUIS/DWIS

When it comes to DWI, the right attorney can make all the difference between you receiving a huge fine or even jail time and you receiving an acquittal.

If you have been arrested and charged with a DWI remember – it is a serious offense in Louisiana. While many believe that DWI is a simple traffic ticket, where you can pay fines and be done, that is not the case.

A DWI is a criminal conviction that will have effects on your driver’s license and criminal record.

Some of the consequences can include loss of your driver’s license, heavy fines, court costs and extensive administrative fees, probation, jail or state prison, vehicle impoundment or forfeiture, and an ignition interlock device put on your car.

That’s why if you are facing a DWI charge, you need the criminal defense attorneys at Arnona Rose to help protect your rights and fight for you.

Besides facing criminal charges, you will also be facing having your driving privileges revoked. Our attorneys can help you fight for your driving privileges in an administrative hearing.

If you have been arrested for a DWI, in order to save your driving privileges you must request an administrative hearing within days of your arrest. We will file the required paperwork, appear at the hearing and work toward maintaining your driving privileges.

Finally, if you are facing a second or subsequent DWI charge, you could be facing increased fines, costs, and penalties.
